  • Whitney Trosper Renfro is a friend of mine who is a Realtor with Prudential Kansas City Realty. Her office is at 7400 State Line Rd. but she works all over the Kansas City Metro area. If you are looking to rent or buy a condo/townhouse or single family home give her a call. She sometimes has clients looking to rent their condo/home or she can help you buy a home if you're ready for that. Check out her website at www.whitneyrenfro.prukc.com. She can be reached through email at whitneyrenfro@prukc.com or on her cell at 816.392.8521. She is really nice and easy to work with, give her a shout to explore your options! (Posted 3/28/11)
  • Falcon Falls Apartments and Homes. www.falconfalls.com 816-584-8000. Specials not usually displayed on website, so may want to call. My husband and I enjoy living at Falcon Falls, we looked at dozens of places and thought this one was a great value. Reasons we chose Falcon Falls: newer apartments (<5 years old), large open floorplans with fireplace and balcony or patio, upper level has vaulted ceilings, full size washer and dryer included, walk-in closets, 24 hr access to fitness center/club house/lanai/business center, large pool, and pets are welcome. They have one and two bedroom apartments, villas, townhomes, and houses for rent. The complex is very quiet for studying and extremely safe. The management is friendly and available and we've never had any issues with maintance. Drive to school = 15 minutes w/o traffic and 20-25 with heavy traffic. (Posted 4/08/08)
  • There are two affordable townhome communities located in the Northwest Kansas City area. Both locations are close (15-25 min drive) to UMKC and provide quiet neighborhoods for studying students. Riverside Townhomes are especially suited for students with families, while Northwood Hills would be excellent for roommates. Visit http://j.web.umkc.edu/jabb65/townhomes/ to learn more. • I live at the Union Hill Founders apartments down the street at 30th and Oak. I love them. They are very safe and so close to the school. I have had a few incoming first year students come visit and they are living here next year. And if they put my name on the signed lease they get money off their rent! A lot of professionals and grad students live here. They are close to The Plaza, Westport, The Power & Light District, KU med library, etc. Contact Gena McGivern for more details: glmxtd@umkc.edu (posted 4/29/09)
